These Daily Record listings for 31.5.75 highlight the confusion over which Thriller episode was to be shown in STV (1st image) & adjacent areas. Ultimately it seems to have been more clear-cut: STV - ITV still off-air; LWT - repeat of "The Eyes Have It"; everywhere else "Murder Motel" rescheduled.

Saturday is here & I'm planning another classic THRILLER rewatch this evening with the first episode of series six. I'm certain I'm going to enjoy 'Sleepwalker', which I got to see in colour for the very first time in 1982. Saturdays were made for #BrianClemensThriller

I'm surprised that modern, content-hungry tv 'platforms' (bloody awful word, I know) aren't looking at BCT for ideas. 'I'm The Girl...' and 'Death To Sister Mary' are cinematic as hell, and would be perfect as tense 60 min TV thrillers.

Following the 100-mile drive from Banbury to South London on Sat 28th April 1973, my eyes had to readjust to watching colour TV again following a 3-week stay at my grandparents & watching only in b/w. What a "marvellous" treat 'Someone at the Top of the Stairs' was in colour. #BrianClemensThriller

Re-reading my own comments on page 652 of the book LOL. My grandparents NEVER upgraded to colour TV & so I saw the first two #BrianClemensThriller episodes in b/w. I think we must have instantly decided it would be a better bet than watching Dick Emery & Ironside on BBC1. 🙂

Watched it last week. Another very tense tale @jabberwocky65.bsky.social. Bradford Dillman is super as Stan Kay, a 'man in peril' instead of the usual woman. I remember it from the original broadcast too, particularly the climax with the bottles going over in the wine cellar. #BrianClemensThriller.

I've been rewatching series five of #BrianClemensThriller & I've got to say the past six Saturdays have been really enjoyable. Tonight's episode 'Murder Motel' with guest star Robyn Millan, & first broadcast in 1975, has got to be my favourite of this run alongside 'If It's a Man, Hang Up'.

April 2nd for followers of Thriller is "One Deadly Owner Day". Specific dates were rarely mentioned in the show but model Helen Cook (Donna Mills) discovers it was on that day that Mrs Jacey disappeared and set off the fateful supernatural chain of events which were to put her own life in danger.

Outside #YorkshireTelevision studios in Leeds in 1986, as staff form the company chevron logo. The high roofs to the right of the Yorkshire TV sign on the photo I believe were those of the main production studios 3 and 4. Four Outside Broadcast vans are parked up in front of the main entrance.
