I don’t think people quite understand that the occupation by ICE in the Twin Cities has more or less erased non-white people from public life. I was just denied access to the ICE processing center at the Whipple Building. Members of Congress have a legal right and constitutional responsibility to conduct oversight where people are being detained. The public deserves to know what is taking place in ICE facilities.

A Black man was killed by ICE (off duty) in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve. And like Renée Good, he was an American citizen. But most people have not heard about Keith Porter. I need y’all to realize this. Black people experience this lack of visibility all the time when it comes to being victims.

Hard video to watch, but about as close as you can get to conclusively disproving the Trump admin's claims that she deliberately attempted to run down the officer. She even talks nicely with him moments before! Note also that the officer is focused more on filming her than on anything else.
