Pretty gutted that I missed a phenomenal display of #NoctilucentClouds from North Oxfordshire this morning but I needed sleep! Our aurora/NLC camera got it. I love seeing the ribbons of mist rolling along the bottom of the hill too. Time-stamp is in GMT #NLC

Chance last night to catch a #ClairObscure on the Moon known as #LunarX and #LunarV. Just fitted onto my camera video frame so caught 60 secs and then stacked in Astrosurface. I know others have also been hunting including @marymcintyreastro.bsky.social and @peterlewis55.bsky.social 🔭 🌔 ... #moon

Last week I was reading the Steeple Aston news magazine and I was so gutted to read that this old wind-powered water pump has been taken down. I loved using it as a foreground for star trails and Milky Way photography 🙁

A year ago I completed five days of images capturing #Asteroid #Flora passing through #NGC3628 the #HamburgerGalaxy This was a line of sight effect; Flora is in our solar system and was ~235 million km away, but the galaxy is 35 million light years away! Tap to expand!
