Carrboro Halloween

Before (2021) and after (2025) of the utility easement along Bolin Creek in Carrboro. It's actually walkable now. Definitely check it out if you haven't been on it lately. A good preview of what it will be like to have a greenway through here .

Marchers shouting "Thom Tillis do something" in Chapel Hill

New benches installed on Orange County's Jones Creek Greenway. It will be really awesome when the town of Carrboro connects to this greenway and to the Chapel Hill Bolin Creek Greenway, creating a miles-long linear park for residents in both towns and the county to enjoy.

7:20am in Carrboro on Bike to School Day

The rebuilt pump track at Martin Luther King Jr. Park in Carrboro is going to be a first class destination for bike enthusiasts. Kind of unexpectedly awesome.

Lots of anxiety on the n'hood listserv about taxed property value being reassessed at the current market value. Are Orange County or Carrboro electeds discussing adjustments to the tax rate? Seeing a lot of "let's protest the assessment" but you can't argue that housing prices haven't gone way up

Scenes from the open house for the Town of Chapel Hill's Estes Dr and Bolin Creek Greenway improvements. Really exciting because these projects will connect Carrboro to Chapel Hill and will eventually result in a low-stress bike network between both towns.

Carrboro is rebuilding the pump track at Dr Martin Luther King Jr Park and it's going to slap so hard! Can't wait to tell my wife that I need a different kind of bike now.
