Thank you everyone so much for the kudos Life has been life-ing, but I do intend to continue writing in the fandom (& maybe more one day) I've actually watched like four? More episodes of Lupin to try and get back into the characters a bit I do hope once this story goes out I'll be back on track

I see these two as basic and extended motivation. I'm writing for myself first. I want to prove to myself that I'm capable of finishing the project. I hope people will like it ofc (and some do!), but making the engagement the first and only concern would utterly destroy my motivation.

The "who cares if nobody likes it" is more about not letting the fear of people disliking it stop you from making it in the first place
