I feel it may depend and on what generation you target. I prefer more traditional because it feels more like a book but I know a lot of younger generations prefer the scroll because they use their phone all the time.

i'm a big fan of traditional printed single page format. the scroll i never quite know how to follow the flow as easily.

I'm old school prefer holding it while reading! But digital works too! Sad how many comic stores have closed! I remember fondly taking my son many times to purchase the comics or books when he was young etc!

Semi-scroll, like formatted for vertical screen but with pages that stop scrolling. At least when reading digitally since I do that mostly with my phone. I like page format when it's paper because I can keep my place in the book with a finger if I have to look away.

No matter what comics do I like to read,no matter if I scroll for a panel like Webcomic,or like to read comics traditionally,I just love comics as I wanted. @ko-mic.com

An ideal webcomics platform for me would be able to handle both formats, and even more experimental formats (like nonlinear "big map" type comics, or the type of stuff Scott McCloud theorized in reinventing comics).

I love both, they each have their own unique aspects to their reading flow that I find fascinating. I personally only make comics with traditional page formats because I love the fun things I can do with page turns and spreads, but the Infinite scroll format is also cool and important.

Printed style is my preferred

As a reader I prefer experiencing what the artist intended. A traditional format means you can put dramatic panels after a page turn for greater surprise, and I would want that experience maintained as closely as possible in digital format. Long scrolls may also lead to lag from too many big images.

Having the choice between either is ideal, but as an artist I plan on using a traditional format better suited for print. A version better suited for scrolling is something I might edit far in the future, but I'm prioritizing the book-reading experience.

Depends on how the comic is formatted! But I've found infinite scroll can work not just for long canvases but also for more classic sizes like A4 or square canvas comics, I'm glad when comic sites adjust to the comic format chosen by the artist. I do love myself classic comic format tho! ✨️
