Zuckerberg's attempt at making Second Life again could almost certainly have funded every indie game in the history of indie games combined.

At about $60K that's about 128 million graduate team indie games, at $150K about 500,000 small indie games, at $300K about 250,000 mid-size debut indie games, or at around $950K about 110,000 indie games by a team of more experienced devs. There are a total of 110,000 indie games on Steam.

There is no more race. We have "the winners" and every manufacturer found its niche. There is no need for a bigger competition or spending xy amount of dollars in (pro) consumer investement. It's milking time.

I'm thinking about opening an Etsy shop for more stuff like this. But I don't know if it will be worth it because I won't be doing items on bulk, only a few props a month. Also if you have any suggestions for stuff you would like to see in real life, let me know!
