Originally, Anton and Annie were meant to talk to each other in the casino at various points in the game. I doodled this when trying to convey the idea to the team.

Going through the archives... I used to design ANTONBLAST levels by drawing on Post-it notes and splattering them all over my wall. Nothing beats analogue.

Corus Entertainment (which owned ToonBoom) gave mass layoffs in July 2024. This is when they decided "AI was the way to go" (remember that?) They've since sold Toon Boom to another shit company, and this was only a matter of time.

I had anticipated this happening, knowing how badly Canadian telecom companies are bleeding money (Corus especially) but it's a damn shame regardless. The few productions I had seen as a kid were good for their time (Beetlejuice, Tintin, etc.) and I hope that the many artists land on their feet.
