This episode was extremely heavy because I know so many of us have been and or are in dark headspace’s like Samantha. this little scene alone really is so beautiful because it reminds you that when you can’t see the beauty in yourself someone else always will and sometimes that’s enough ☹️❤️

Saw @missinoneilfr.bsky.social point this out on twt but omg Lucy wearing the SAME sweater that she wore after DOD at the end of this ep is breaking & healing my heart at the same time! Going from Tim saying “you’re a survivor” to her saying “I survived! You survived!” is such a beautiful parallel!

I’m ngl I love the darker episodes of the rookie like the acting and actually also the writing is always the best and it just feels so impactful!!! I obviously also love the silly moments like daddy cop but these kind of episodes are what always remind me why this is my favorite show!!!

Oh the acting this episode is SO GOOD everyone all around the supporting actors, background actors AND obv the main cast has been EATING SO FAR and made me feel EVERY SINGLE WORD

lucy truly is so good at her job, her convo with samantha is so heartbreaking but at the same time so comforting at how she’s leading the convo, i feel the warmth through the screen 😭😭
