We’ve been working with @artfletch.bsky.social to create a 3D model of the Lower Lake, where visitors know we’ve had to restrict access for surveys to the concrete dam structure & surrounding soils. I've hired a Leica BLK360 G2 lidar scanner for a week to learn. I want to see how it deals with plain white walls and ceilings. Below shows a comparison of photogrammetry with and without adding in the lidar scan. Would love to buy one but they are £20,000+ with very expensive software fees on top!

I've visited the new Secrets of the Thames mudlarking exhibition at London Museum Docklands. It's really good and it has some of my 3D models in that you can interact with. Definitely worth a visit.
