Today in "DOJ gets dinged by a federal court," the DC Circuit just denied DOJ's unopposed motion to reschedule the Nov. 24 oral argument in the AP access case b/c DOJ ignored the DC Circuit rules, under which DOJ should have informed the court about availability issues in July or early August.

Trump complains that Comey is a "dirty cop" who was basically out to get him. But so far, he has fired Comey for violating DOJ policies by criticizing Hillary Clinton and had him indicted for allegedly authorizing the leak, before the 2016 election, of another investigation into Clinton.

So James Comey has been indicted for testifying, in essence, that he didn't authorize Andrew McCabe to be an anonymous media source about the Hillary Clinton email investigation—which McCabe disputes. But a DOJ IG report examined all the circumstantial evidence and concluded McCabe was lying.
