well no. there's a bunch of grants and working groups for those efforts. This project was 3 bsky employees and an ex-bsky employee working part time to slap it together. All together it probably used less engineering hours than a single full time engineer.

I wonder why everyone is so mad about this. It’s a separate app so you’ll never see it if you don’t want to. It’s not a “slop generator”, it just builds feeds for you, like Graze. It’s trying to solve bsky’s poor discovery problem and make custom feeds easier
