Coach and boatwright The range of contrast was huge here, maybe that's why I like it because I was able to pull the two of them talking in the background out just enough. 📷 Pentax K3 mkiii monochrome

Took a handful of monochrome. But there's def a switch in my brain, this color thing is making sense. Going to make an effort for more monochrome today but we'll see how my instincts drive the photos/camera choice

Long day. Got a few decent photos, team media coordinator was happy. There's some palpable tension here. The league is tough and everything comes down to tomorrow morning. It'll be a much more active day with the 📷 than today's standing at the start.

More words from Mike F Before I finished reading, I spent two days watching the film he mentions. Even without the context of the saga of riding up that trail, it is damn good and way too relatable.

every so often I look down at the trending box here on the browser and pretty much every time I have no idea why they are trending and an overwhelming urge NOT to find out scrolling the following feed rarely clues me in and that makes me feel okay about how I've curated my followers.

Wondering if anyone in my bike circle could use or knows someone who could use a good commuter bike or a good cyclocross bike? I’ve got a couple: 1x12 disc style (Trek Crockett), 1x1 rim style (Gitane City Link). Both size 52 cm.

Realized today that this is the 20th year of bike to work day [month] for me here in RI. Last year I think I pulled out my BTW t-shirt from 2006, this year, kind of by, accident I grabbed the 2016 one. Thanks for supporting bike commuters

Morning coffee in the backyard while Molly runs around and sniffs is pretty nice. Esp right now. No bugs, perfect temps. But this morning? A squirrel pooped on me. I've had tree debris fall on me before, bits of flowers/leaves. But these were brown pellets and over my head in the maple, a squirrel

I think a lot about how the Ode to Joy is on both Golden Records on Voyagers 1 and 2. This music will survive the eventual extinction of humanity. It will survive Earth being swallowed up when Sol goes Red Giant. It will survive the collapse of Sol into a White Dwarf. It is humanity's legacy.
