Man. That last @thewelcoming.bsky.social show has revitalized me. I play so many shows where afterward I’m like “why am I going through all this effort, what’s the point” that it’s really nice to have played one that helped me remember why I was excited about making music in the first place.

What a night with @thewelcoming.bsky.social! My recent focus on my voice resulted in an above average vocal performance, somewhat at the expense of my guitar playing lol. But definitely one of our best shows overall! Also The Fall of Troy were absolute sweethearts and they put on a hell of a show.

Recently found an exercise for developing mixed voice that actually works and doesn’t rely on weird metaphors or anatomical jargon. Ran through @thewelcoming.bsky.social set three times last night and didn’t blow out my voice so I think it’s working. Nice to have some confidence in my voice again!
