First paper from PhD published today…children with cleft lip/palate were at higher risk of language difficulties if they had phonological errors with or without cleft speech characteristics (CSCs). CSCs alone were not an indicator of lower language skills. Read more here dx.doi.org/10.1111/1460...

Excellent article on the need for a plurality of evidence rather than a hierarchy. It shouldn't always lead to an RCT! Choose the best method for the question being asked.
