Upon completion of my bachelor's degree last fall, I was inducted into Sigma Alpha Pi, a national honors society. Today, halfway through my master's in educational psychology, I have been admitted to Psi Chi, an international psychology honors society. Humble brag. Not bad for an old broad.

There are moments in the HPG life when the exploration of highly arcane subject matter triggers the most immense joy imaginable. I've been living in that space for over a week, and although it makes me jittery, it's a very fulfilling and validating venture.
