Frank McCourt would have been 95 today. My mentor, my high school English teacher, my friend. I first met him at 15. I was lucky enough to travel to Ireland with him and the McCourt brothers on films — a memory I’ll hold forever. It only takes one teacher to believe in you. He changed my life.
