I realllllyyyyy wish there was more information and discussion about how autism is different from the co-occurring conditions that can come with it, because a lot of people confuse behaviours their child is doing with autistic traits when they aren’t, they’re symptoms of the learning disabilities

It’s one YouTuber I watch that I spotted it when she told us she was afraid of the car wash and gets her husband to take the car and now I can’t unsee it at all. I think she can’t see it because her daughter has co-occurring learning disabilities so her perception of autism is skewed
