Yeah jeez, reading back through my code on mc 1.5, modding's gotten a lot *worse* in the past decade. It used to be that making a mod was pretty easy, and compatibility and configuration were a bit complex. Now it's entirely the opposite! It's a wonder anybody finishes anything.

I think a big thing that makes rust so gosh darn test heavy is that you're encouraged to just throw all your tests in the file of the thing they're testing. This is a good thing and I definitely didn't just write tests on a tiny project for fun (and find bugs).
