Apologies to people who thought it was good, but Weapons (2025). For all of the interesting ideas in it, it was too caught up in its own tedious diegetic explanations and easy scares to engage with the themes it’s very clearly presenting or to do anything interesting.

I got my headphones back from being repaired, they worked great for all of two days, and now there’s a loud electrical whine in one of the headphones that makes them unusable. The place that did the repairs has a 100 day warranty, but I just want my headphones. This blows :(

Save The Green Planet! (2003) is a crazy movie. Absolutely all over the place in the best way possible. I really appreciate how much Yorgos Lathimos ended up doing his own thing with Bugonia (2025) while very much remaking it. Shame it’s not more accessible though.
