I just got an email letting me know it's my one-year anniversary of taking trumpet lessons. 🎺 I played for 7 years from 5th-12th grade (took 9th grade off) and decided I wanted to relearn as an adult. It's one of the best decisions I've made in my adult life.

Today is only Monday (technically, Tuesday, I suppose) and it's already been a long and exhausting week that I'm very, very over.

I rode my bike to my home (meaning tax-supported) library (as opposed to my work library or hometown library or home - meaning personal - library) for its first Sunday of open hours and it was hopping! This change has been a long time coming and crucial for community access needs. I'm grateful.

New achievements unlocked! I took my bike on an El train; I've taken it on Metra before but have always been nervous about finding CTA stops with elevators. First time Bike the Drive participant and I made it 16.8 miles!

Spouse and I wrapped up our Andor S2 watch and I've never been so happy to be anxious as I was while watching that show. I saw Rogue One in theaters but have the memory of a mayfly, so our upcoming rewatch will still be a surprise for me.
