Excellent twitch to Goonhilly Down with @karleburford.bsky.social for the Lesser Kestrel, didn't look too promising travelling Bristol to Cornwall in the fog, but the bird didn't disappoint😊

A day on the Somerset Levels, 60 species, all goals seen, 3 Black-necked Grebe on Noah's, Shapwick Heath, plus Cuckoo Bittern and Hobby, and Beardies. Ham Wall, Ring-necked Duck, Garden Warbler and other Bitterns

Yesterday I went out for a guided trip in Bulgaria and OMG I found an Eagle Owl😱 regards the handling, I was lucky to be guided by one of the most qualified and licenced people in Bulgaria. Bird was put in a safe location and parent bird also seen nearby😊
