Thank you for the responses so far to the opening day of the season. Getting the commentary teams on at 10 will be a challenge. That lot in the south will be somewhere complaining about the number of shots in their espresso. The northern lot; haranguing someone over how to put the world right 1/2

Are there people wondering what Richard Gould mean’t saying change to England’s management would have been the ‘easy’ option. Certainly no shortage of candidates but at what financial cost, severance pay & probably needing 2 coaches Test/White ball. Instead to keep status quo is the easy option?

Interesting reading Jimmy ; won’t spoil for anyone but he’s talking about incentives. The sort of incentives which right now the ECB seem to be fighting; that is money going to players? Understanding long term investment but who will be left to play when the clubs are finally on a good footing?

My little football club whom I support from a distance have now won 5 matches on the spin. They were previously seemingly free falling out of the football league. I don’t pretend to know details but it seems someone saw how the club had become disconnected from wider supporters base.
