An upper low over the Maritimes is enabling the warm solstice sun the trigger showers or thunderstorms. These will be fairly widespread this afternoon. On Sunday, western areas more likely to be affected. While showers will be spotty on Monday, an area of heavy rain will affect the region Tuesday.
