One of my favorite story gags is when there's a crap ton of puns put in intentionally, that the story never acknowledges. IE naming the person in charge of modifying vehicles "Doctor Danial Signs", and NEVER ONCE referring to him as "Dr D. Signs" (Doctor Designs as in Modify Blueprints) I love it.

In updating a data backup, I accidentally overwrote the new files WITH the backup, losing the new files. Well, at least I don't have to worry about whether or not I can fix this by restoring a backup. :/ I've tweaked my process so this never happens again and have been re-sourcing the lost files.

I got bit in the ass by my tendency to make kitchen sink packs again. I wanted to make a pack where you HAVE to build a create aeronautics vehicle as your base, because traveling on foot is to dangerous, but I added a mods that created a different, incompatible experience. A fun one, but still.

Pet peeve: Adding a quest system to a modpack doesn't add extrinsic motivations. It adds a 9 hour long tutorial that, depending on how the crafting and quest rewards work, is a MANDATORY 9 hour tutorial. And once that tutorial is over, you're in the same intrinsic trap as without it.
