Happiest of birthday wishes to comic book writer, Jo Duffy, who, among many other accomplishments in the industry, was the writer of Catwoman's first ongoing monthly series which she launched with artist Jim Balent in 1993. Here's hoping that she's having a great day today!

I'd be curious to know if the opening titles to CATWOMAN: HUNTED, which tells the story of what went down in Sochi and which forms the entire plot of the film, was always intended to be titles or if it was used there because they couldn't work it into the film proper for time or budget reasons.

I think we should have a CATWOMAN: HUNTED soundtrack to listen to. So many of the DC Animated shows and films have received soundtrack releases, either physical or streaming, and HUNTED has such a different vibe and a potential anime fanbase...feels like a no brainer to me.

81/530: THE BATMAN, Season 3, “The Laughing Cats” (2005) Okay, I’ll say it: I like the Season 3-5 opening theme better than the Season 1-2 theme by The Edge. While undoubtedly inspired by the lighter toned Teen Titans, that Neal Hefti keyboard combined with that Hawaii 5-0 guitar is just a zinger.

I love that the Ancient Egyptian word for cat was an onomatopoeia. They didn't name cats and called them by the sound they made: Miu.

On September 12th, 1992 "The Cat and the Claw: Part 2" aired on the FOX network as part of their FOX Kids block of programming. The episode was 16th in the production order but aired as the eighth episode for the series which was, at the time, airing daily on the network.

I've been pondering the status of this account, lately. After taking a bit of a hiatus, I returned to regular posting this week. I just kind of felt inspired to even though the podcast this was created to support has experienced some delays and is currently on hold.
