A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

As a bookstore that sells pamphlets and magazines, the criminalization of such materials feels pretty close to home. So let's take a closer look at the materials the federal government is claiming tie readers to "antifa terrorism." We can pick out six titles in these grainy photos. 1/

The murderous systemic violence of capitalism has many faces. So many ways to kill, so few of them illegal under capitalism.

Anarchists are known for our courage. We have gotten used to acting boldly in an array of contexts. What is needed now is the courage to establish public positions around which a fighting movement can cohere. This both scarier and simpler than many of the things we have done in the past.

Antifascism is so often exactly this. Attacking the explicit fascists, while fighting off the repressive arm of the state at our rearguard— as the Basque comrades so effectively did today in Vitoria against Spanish falangist fascists.

Trump & MAGA have found a useful idiot for their geopolitical ambitions in Milei. We deal with this once per generation— and once again we’ll have to stop them. Not to be all crudely anti-imperialist & all, but Argentina & Latam are not your backyard from which to extract resources.
