Tolka Park is saved! Shelbourne have completed formal agreements with for a 250-year lease of Tolka Park. They’ve secured Tolka Park for future generations and brought the ground into their ownership. Positive action like this is how you secure the heritage of football for future supporters.

In 1956, Spora Luxembourg produced one of the biggest shocks in football history. After losing 4-3 in Germany, they brought Borussia Dortmund to their home in Luxembourg City and won 2-1. Sadly, the club no longer exist. They merged with 2 other clubs to be come Racing Union Luxembourg in 2005.

HŠK Građanski Zagreb had a huge influence on the development of football in Croatia and the former Yugoslavia. Though they were dissolved in 1945 following World War II, a new club was founded to be Zagreb's representative club. Their name today is Dinamo Zagreb.

Belfast Celtic v Scotland at Ebbets Field, home of the Brooklyn Dodgers, New York, 1949. Belfast Celtic would run out 2-0 winners, frustrating Scotland and causing what was considered a massive shock. It was the last time Scotland ever played a club side.
