Dissociation is a comorbidity with intense pain and identity suppression. Dysphoria can be hard to process and exists before you even have language so its very easy to put it in a bottle and never have to think of it again. Only at the cost of disconnect from your body, and often emotions.

🔬 Hi! We're an epochal polyfragmented system with a frontstuck depersonalized shell alter. We're trying to get closer-to-metal access to the body and emotions, and I think we might need to fuse our shell into one of us inside. It's a big ask, but any other #plural systems had any luck with this?

-Polyfragmented systems are incredibly good at masking themselves from both other people and the system itself. There is such little information out there on dissociation and such a high correlation with the neurodivergent and trans communities, something that really needs to be fixed.-
