Apparently Monday morning is the best time to see Frederiksborg. The only soul I’ve seen here is the security and a couple of older ladies. No loud chatter, nobody acting like buffoons when it comes to looking at the paintings. Just me.

I was hunting for a specific style of black Mary Jane shoes for years before I eventually gave up and got a pair similar. Guess what I found today. I found the shoes. And in Aarhus of all places! It’s practically next door! I am going to be kicking myself for this for a while. :/

Organ music scratches a part of my brain I didn’t know needed scratched. And then there’s the ‘surprise’ matinees at the church I visit to pray. The added rumble in the 200 year old stone floor fills me with such joy.

I didn’t get an exact date for my online final exam until a few days ago. I knew it was on the 31st, but not the exact time. Now I have no parties to attend or anything. At least I’ve got plenty of video games, khan (I like math), booze, and 78s. It honestly doesn’t feel like that bad of an evening

Is anyone else excited for Frederik X’s first new years speech? I certainly am.

Today is Sylte day in the Christmas feast fest. (Aka us eating and drinking for the next 4-5 days) I’m hoping there’s ample amounts of potatoes and cream sauce. Pork aspic texture is just not something I can bring myself to eat.

3d printed toothpaste squeezers. If it counts, I’m also slowly building a collection of tiny 3d printed rubber ducks- in various colors and filament types- as a belated Christmas gift for someone I won’t see until summer. The tin I plan to put them in can fit up to 1k of these bad boys.

The Danish National Museum needs to be renamed to The Danish National Horde. that place is a maze full of the most random stuff, and if you go far enough in, there is some interesting things. Weirdest being hentai. I found Japanese adult material (behind glass and none directly shown) there.

There’s no such thing as “too many books”—only not enough shelves, not enough time, and not enough space for the dream library with a sliding ladder. But let’s be honest… we’ll keep buying books anyway.
