15. Mosaica (Reprise) Closer on the album, brings everything full circle and to a close simultaneously. Ironically this was the first track I worked on when I fully started production for this album. (1/2)

14. Permutations Shortest non-interlude track on the album. Basically what I tried to do was take a few sample chops, have every possible arrangement of those chops play one after the other (hence the title), and make a song out of it. (1/2)

13. The Battle of Hopelessness The big “don’t be a doomer” track (pretty fitting message going into 2026 tbh). ngl I was very afraid people were gonna find this corny or too blissfully ignorant or something but i’m glad it’s seemingly resonated with listeners thus far. (1/2)

12. Interlude 3: Still More Dumb Ideas Just a short comp of random ideas (some on this track were genuine old ideas i had before, the others I kinda came up with on the spot lol). Really I wanted to make something a bit in the vein of Mr. Oizo’s “Lambs’ Garbage.”

11. Nineteen Based off an old wip from early 2023, and named after my favorite number + date of birth. Wanted to go with a vibe that felt nostalgic to me personally. This one’s got the logos/niche samples in full force so I hope you’re prepared :)))

10. Cities Originally made for the Various Artists compilation Team Building: Second Floor, hosted by fellow artist Hot Singles. All participating artists had to flip the same sample, and generally we went in pretty different directions for the most part (1/2)

9. Interlude 2: Swim My attempt at doing something more ambient. I flipped a vocal sample taken from a local kids TV block I used to watch on PBS and I think it came out really nicely.

8. Phone Me (ft. @merenotilde.bsky.social) The first (and hopefully not last) collab with the pink bnuuy himself! This one is (evidently) phone-themed, and imo we both did such a great job blending the main two samples here. Partially got the idea from this weird voicemail I got one time. (1/2)

7. Slide An idea I had dating as far back as 2022, and an overall concept that I think a lot of y’all are gonna find really funny tbh. Also really let my inner “logo kid” shine on this one a bit (hopefully not to the detriment of the track lmao). (1/2)

6. All Night This one’s almost like a deconstruction of a future funk/house-oriented party track; it gets really crazy, that’s as much as I can say. (1/2)

5. Interlude 1: Samba Shit First interlude on the album, I was thinking “what if I made a bad song on purpose?” Features a sample some of y’all might be familiar with (hint: also (technically) sampled by the sole collaborator on this album).

4. You’re Crazy! Wanted to do something more tongue-in-cheek with this one, although I will say this track was mostly inspired by Classic Files’ stuff. Also features some of the most odd sample choices on the album (mainly in part because of the aforementioned tongue-in-cheek vibe I was going for).

3. Cool This one’s based on an idea I had floating around in my notes for a couple years. Was the track I kept tweaking and refining the most out of all on the project. Also tangentially related to Oneohtrix Point Never, but I won’t say too much about that…

2. With Your Technique The first single off the album (released exactly a year ago tomorrow, in fact). Probably my favorite song I’ve ever done (if we’re not counting frontier psychiatrist w/ newer samples, but that’s not really an “original” song lol), (1/2)

1. Mosaica Obviously the title track, and probably the one most closely tied to the overall theme/message of the album. My current personal record for most samples used in a song (116 to be exact, counting 1 interpolation. the hood internet are probably crying in a corner rn lol).
