24 hour general strike in Italy for Palestine underway. “This doesn’t mean we’re anti-Jews or antisemitic, and we’re tired of the media and politicians playing on this misunderstanding,” the student, identified only as Alessandra, told La Repubblica.

Tens of thousands joined the general strike across Italy against the genocide in Gaza+Italian gov's complicity. 100.000 in Rome alone. Two poignant things: many primary school teachers marched with their students; when the protest blocked the ring road, drivers got out to applaud the demonstrators.

BREAKING: Tomorrow, TikTok workers in Germany will launch a four-day strike. They are escalating their action in response to the social media company’s refusal to engage in collective bargaining, which it has been blocking since July this year.
