I have a lore question. In Cars, Lightning walks in on the sheriff getting an oil change. Doc is under him, not helping. They chastise Lightning for seeing the sheriff's undercarriage, but??? Doc was staring like it was his last sunset??? WHAT WAS GOING ON THERE? This is my new favorite ship, btw.

I *just* finished Higher Magic by @courtneyfloyd.bsky.social, and I'm going to be doing my review of it soon. But I wanted to post here and say, if you haven't pre-orderd it yet, you are missing out. It is such a good book and a story that is very much needed right now. I cried.

The whole robot slur thing was funny at first, but it's starting to make me sick the way people are fully embracing it and running with it. There's something inherently disgusting to me about hating something we made and othering it when it never asked to exist. It's... cold.
