Fantastic articles! (The Atlantic one makes me want to re-read Isaac Asimov's I, Robot. At least two of the stories I remember from it focus on people who think the robot or AI is doing more than simply following its algorithm.)

The data center industry wants us to continue their sales tax exemption through 2035 because the amount of money they keep from it annually grows exponentially. That’s billions of $ we need to offset the damage of HR1 to Medicaid, the ACA, SNAP, etc. We need that money to fix roads and feed kids.

I have a huge backlog of games to get through spanning ten years and more , I have no problem not buying games from studios doing this and watching them rethink when their profits drop.
