It’s frustrating to contemplate that the option is “treat this thing that’s work like a hobby or don’t do it at all.” (see games writing but also writing jobs all over, academic research, etc…). I find “do what you want... because the market’s so bad!” hard to stomach even if it’s true.

I spent like 7 hours outside today in really lovely weather and saw many, many animals including manatees and otters. Love how good a day not spent solely focused on all the bullshit job searching is will have me feeling. 😭
