Learning absolutely nothing from 2025, I'm revving up my 2026 backlog project. 12 months, 12 games (1 obligatory Yakuza). In high school I joined the Cross Country team, and at one point during practice I was running back towards school. Passed a group of girls and one of them shouted “Damn boy, you whiter than Casper!”

When I inevitably start up Backlog Project 2026, I need to decide what to do about the games on my list from this year that I never got around to. Do they get a second chance to be picked, or are they doomed to go to the back of the line?

Finally had time to sit down and fully 100% Hollow Knight: Silksong including all the extra bits. I loved exploring every inch of this world. Well worth the long wait, and I'm eager to see where the expansions go. I think I can firmly place it as my 2025 Game of the Year!
