Oh man! I'm sure that Tate Brombal, Werther Dell'edera, and Giovanna Niro dumped their hearts and souls into Green Lantern Dark. Just as I'm sure that somebody liked it, DC did make it a hardcover. It wasn't for me. 2/5 #comicsky #dccomics

Someone assured me that I would like Jason Todd more after reading Robin & Batman Jason Todd by Jeff Lemire and Dustin Nguyen. I was not disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised by a rival who I won't spoil for anyone that hasn't read it yet. Very fun read. 5/5 #comicsky #dccomics

We're Taking Everyone Down With Us by Matthew Rosenberg and Stefano Landini was certainly entertaining. I thought it took a little bit to get going, yet finished strong. The art was good enough but lacking in backgrounds. 4/5 #comicsky #imagecomics

Just read The Beast. I don't know why I bought this, but I'm very glad that I did. It's a period piece set in the time of the Second World War. A blurb on the back cover says this is a true story. It is not. But it is a wonderful experience. My only complaint is I have to wait for the 2nd part 5/5

When I bought Cheetah & Cheshire Rob the Watchtower, I expected a lot. Greg Rucka and Nicola Scott are a no Brainer (now go do some more Black Magic, please). This story exceeded everything I thought it could be. Art and story are on point. 5/5 #comicsky #dccomics

News From the Fallout by Chris Condon/Jeffrey Alan Love is interesting. Not zombies, but... The story was tight and suspenseful. Yet I'm not a zombie or a horror fan. I bought this only because Chris wrote it. The art is definitely something you have to get used to. It's not for me. 3/5 #comicsky

So, Jessica Jones Blind Spot is a print ed of prev pub digital comics by Kelly Thompson, Mattia De Iulis, Marcio Takara, and Filipe Andrade. It's smaller than a standard comic and marked for mature readers. It contains 2 stories; Blind Spot and Purple Daughter. It is excellent. 4/5 #comicsky

The Four Norsemen of the Apocalypse by Matthew Sturges/John Lucas is quite the book. It's very dark. You don't want to read this if you're a serious Catholic. It was very entertaining, and it's been a long time since I was genuinely surprised. The art is top-notch. 4/5 #comicsky #Firstcomics

SW Han Solo Hunt For the Falcon by Rodney Barnes and Ramon Rosanas was quick read. The art was good enough, but despite reading it with Harrison Ford's voice in my head, some of it felt out of character and forced. The story was very choppy, making it hard to find a rhythm. 2/5 #comicsky

Just finished Supergirl Being Super by Mariko Tamaki and Joelle Jones. This is a bit smaller than a regular comic. I wish it had been done at the deluxe size. That's my only complaint. What's good about it? Well, now I'm going to hunt down Joelle at Heroes and hopefully get a sketch. #comicsky
