I used NCrunch www.ncrunch.net in its early days and I think it becomes essential with agent coding flows.

Generating code was never the goal. The goal was to solve problems. I tried my best to avoid writing code by leveraging existing solutions or reframing the problem. Writing code was always a last resort and a liability. If I was going to write code, then I was going to do it right.

What’s the state of Platform Orchestrators in 2025? What are folks using? Or rolling out on their own ?

The AI hype cycle is strange. I’ve not seen any tech hype that’s been pushed on to devs forcefully before. Devs are made to feel bad for not using it. Atleast Kubernetes is useful.

My favorite description of the term “privilege” is who gets the benefit of the doubt and who doesn’t. We see it every day in who gets the rules rigorously enforced against them and who gets a slap on the wrist or warning when the rules say there are heavy consequences for their actions.

I may not be the target audience for Dr Who anymore, but my 6 yr olds face lit up seeing the Dr shoot across space using a confetti gun. Love the silliness Ncuti Gatwa’s Dr brings.
