I loved all these and more. Get Fuzzy was a constant delight. Between Shoe, Doonesbury, Bloom County and a book of Ben Sargent's political cartoons I found on my mother's bookshelf, I hated Ronald Reagan well and truly by the age of twelve or thirteen

Oh my goodness, this Wall Street Journal piece about Trump's ailing health that includes an interview with him (gift link). There are a number of ridiculous details in it and I'll put a few of them in this thread. (1/6)

When I can't sleep, I think about how hotcakes and pancakes are the same thing, BUT "hotcake makeup" isn't a thing, AND no one ever says that a popular consumer good "sells like pancakes."

My dearest wife, It is week two of the Siege of Portland, and still these barbarians will not yield to our troops. We have severed the cords of their latte machines but they are making cowboy coffee in their camps, where loud ukulele songs of resistance even now drift in on the breeze.

"The Republican Party wants to pull YOUR teenage daughter's pants down in the middle of gym class if they think she's too good at lacrosse, this is vile and depraved and only the start of their intrusive government overreach" should be the party line and I don't think it's a heavy lift

Being in a sea of humanity, all of you cheering for more humanity, is an incredible feeling and will bolster your resolve for the endurance march that will be the next several years. We do have each other, and that's a lot. For love, we'll give it a shot.
