The opinion of the EU CoR on the SGP reform is now available online: dm-publicapi.cor.europa.eu/v1/documents... It proposes targeted amendments to the original Commission proposal (more inclusive democratic process, more economics-based rules approach, preferential treatment for co-financing, etc.)

Following today's ECOFIN meeting, Spanish deputy-prime minister Nadia Calviño 'hopes' that they will able to present a first draft legislative text at the next ECOFIN meeting on 9 november.

Let's hope this can become pre-October 2022 twitter (or something even better).
