Finally got to watching this weeks Precure and wondering if the Mystery Cures Civilian name reads a funny in Japanese as it does in English.

Imagine making a sequel to an anime that last had content 7 years ago and dropping it in this current season. (This is to say that I honestly had completely missed that S2 of Tanya started yesterday)

Every season of Super Sentai plays it was breathless described by an eight year old: "So, there are super heroes who drive super fast cars, and they have tire faces, and race on a SPEED RACER track, and there's a race car that can fly, and every episodes ends with a musical road safety lesson!"

I probably shouldn't watch Trapped in a Dating Sim S2 given how rammed this season is, but I kind of like the novels way, way more than I'd care to admit, and best character Marie will actually get screentime this season. That said, wow these S2 character designs look weird...

One of my favourite stylistic touches in new GITS is it's habit of mimicking Shirows habit of dropping footnotes on screen, though I call it stylistic as in the show they often flashby so quickly as to be impossible to read (not that most of them will be subbed on Amazon anyway)

I watched through Tenchi Universe last year. The secret to that show is that a lot of the best episodes were KyoAni outsource, or at least the best episodes which were Masanari. A lot of the writing was kind of insufferable, though…

I hope the actual eventual twist in Lara is that the aunt is actually cool and just thinks the dress attire of an evil witch is really sick looking.

Caught one of the preview screenings of the first two episodes of the new Ghost in the Shell show. Even more unapologetically cartoony than I dared to hope. Came out of it extremely enthusiastic about the show.

Saw Supergirl. It was fine. Too many of the setpieces were shot waaaay too dark though.

I’m honestly a little shocked at exactly how little interest I have in seeing the new Toy Story movie… I’ll probably see the new Minions though.

Pretty much just spent the evening mainlining the new Deltarune chapter. Still need to beat that bonus boss (some *wild* mechanics on it), but I have rolled credits on it.
