Jakob has his Masters degree in a VERY in demand job in Canada, but no, it's not enough. Yet so many people from other countries seem to move over here with ease. It's very frustrating, but what do I do. We're doing best we can, despite the possible danger we could face. It's...depressing

I'm willing to risk it all for love, until my fiancé can find a way to move up to Canada. Yet of course my home country has to make it near impossible for my partner to move north because I can't afford to sponsor him or anything, and the hoops he has to jump through are frustrating.

While I do have to be careful in multiple ways, I don't have any good alternatives back in Canada to move forward with my life. ' Ultimately, I don't care about ICE or Tr**p or the world falling apart around us...I have to survive any way I can

It's been...surreal and feels just a little bit off...with the fact I am still in the process of moving from Canada to the US. But I've been genuinely happy for the first time in a very long time...to be with my partner now. It's a measured risk, and unfortunately the ONLY way for this all to work
