I finally finished my Penge #zine haul by @colossive.com. I love ‚Magpies - Sorrow or Joy?‘ and although I’ve read several shelf metres of football books (mostly by men), no one has ever summarized it as aptly as @janegibbensmurphy.bsky.social did on pages 2f of the Eagles #fanzine ‚Glad All Over‘.

Born on this day in 1889 was fave artist Paul Nash. He had a few football-themed works inc this 1921 wood engraving and 1935's Footballers Prefer Shell, which was the inspiration for my issue 15 cover.

Last week, the first special issue of #LeToMaGiC was released as part of the *Minizine Mania* exhibition at @lofipublishing.bsky.social. The riso-printed issue 7b features explanations of all zine covers released to date, along with qr-codes linking to the music of the records that inspired them.

…in this zine the inspiring ‚Flâneuse‘ by @laurenelkin.bsky.social was mentioned, which I really enjoyed reading! I partly did so in a pub where the ‚East Kent Drinker’ was on display, the magazine whose @ramsgatebrewery.bsky.social advert taught me the verb "to gad".
