Flow concept art by Arthur Gore. In the script, the cat's house was just an ordinary house. As the animatic and concept art were being developed, we decided to turn it into a sculptor's workshop. It's important to be open to new ideas and not to follow the script too rigidly.

Flow might be the first film where a capybara is one of the main characters. I was inspired by how peaceful and chill they are. And how diplomatic and friendly they are with every type of animal. Although I identify with the cat the most, my aspiration is to be like the capybara.

So what's one today's

menu? Well I finished the rear shock absorber, changed the spring and topoed the lower part together. Then I got started on the front axle (proud of that piece) and modeled the mudguard. I also added a piece to the frame. So tomorrow it's either headlight or tyre

Here's a workflow I used for creating Italian cypresses (Cupressus sempervirens) using Quixel textures as a base. Model branches and combine with texture cutouts on a plane - bake - assemble clusters - make a core with tiling texture - position clusters around the core

today was focused on adding the fixtures to the frame. It's honestly so satisfying to see it all merge into one mesh. I also added the base for the saree guard and modeled the rear mudguard.
