Dear European colleagues, I strongly advise you to forcefully repudiate this initiative before they end up in a position to influence policy. Let me know if I can help.

Great news and clever workaround for the NY State law that caused a prescription requirement for the COVID vaccine. Now you can get your prescription and your shot all in one go right at the pharmacist.

History shows us the opposite: Undermining and censoring scientists and experts is a central feature of authoritarianism.

Update: At least three other high-ranking officials in CDC have also resigned. “I am not able to serve in this role any longer because of the ongoing weaponization of public health,” one of the officials said in a note to staff.

GOOD NEWS! Researchers at the University of Florida have developed a UNIVERSAL vaccine that dramatically BOOSTS the immune system’s ability to fight tumors- even WITHOUT targeting a SPECIFIC cancer type. It has the potential to do away with chemotherapy, surgery AND radiation treatment.

MAHA wasn’t a response to COVID and any journalist who doesn’t understand that it *exploited COVID* intentionally, deliberately from day one should pack it in bc they’re a dupe. Cover people who want to improve nutrition if that’s what you want to talk about.

5. SO, YEAH. YOU’RE GONNA HAVE TO PUT YOUR ACTIVIST SHOES ON. Unless you want to be a bystander while millions die because MAGA has wielded pseudo-science bullshit to prop up fresh eugenic flavored policies. Again, this isn’t comfortable. We aren’t used to this. It’s not our “culture”. And yet…

I just can't with all these white dudes pointing the finger at other demographics. I understand it feels uncomfortable. Unless you voted for Trump, you are not the problem.

With the October data in GISTEMP, it is almost certain that 2024 will be a new annual temperature record. Best estimate is for 1.47°C above pre-industrial, but it could be above 1.5°C depending on the this month and next (of course).
