We're asking the FDA to swiftly ban butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) from food. BHA was shown to cause cancer in animals decades ago, and federal law is clear on this -- animal carcinogens cannot be approved for use in food.

Shopping for whole grain bread should be simple. But all that marketing fluff can make things harder than it should be! For example, “Grams of whole grain” alone doesn’t tell you what percent of the grains are whole. A bread with “8g whole grain” could also have 8 (or more) grams of white flour.

Did you know that some of the healthiest nut butters have just one or two ingredients? Just nuts (or seeds) and maybe salt. The fats in those need-to-stir varieties come from the nuts or seeds themselves, so you’re largely getting unsaturated fat. And most of these don’t add any sugars, either!

The most pervasive, damaging, and false claim about vaccines is that they cause autism. Again, Means's evasiveness here is very telling.

Sen. Baldwin is pointing out Casey Means conflicts of interest in supplements and other endorsements and how they don't inspire confidence in someone wanting to be the Surgeon General. Yep- it is suspect for sure.

This kind of evasiveness on vaccines should be disqualifying from the start.
