Franklin Field was full of joy last night! 🎄🎁 Thanks to @mayorwu.boston.gov and the incredible generosity of the Greater Boston Building Trades, The International Union of Painters, and the IBEW 103, families celebrated the season with toys, smiles, and holiday cheer!

The holidays get a little brighter each year when we work with our partners to distribute thousands of toys to kids across Boston. This year, we distributed more than 2,000 toys across seven sites! 🧸❤️

Today, @mayorwu.boston.gov announced that the City has converted the Hillcrest in Roslindale into permanently affordable housing through the Acquisition Opportunity Program and the Boston Acquisition Fund. Additionally, First Citizens Bank announced a new $1 million contribution to the Fund!

For 8 weeks, residents at Peabody Englewood have been hard at work studying computer skills at the Digit(all) Equity classes hosted by Boston Housing Authority promoting #DigitalLiteracy for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Tonight, the Mildred Hailey Tenant Taskforce distributed 100 Thanksgiving turkeys to residents preparing for the holiday season. Special thanks to the Mayor’s Office for donating them to Hailey families. Partnerships like this help bring added joy and community spirit to the holidays.

Boston College High School students and staff donated Thanksgiving meal ingredients, and together with BHA staff, everyone worked hard today to sort and distribute them for our residents — an annual tradition we’re so grateful for!
