Yesterday marked the opening of the new Jackson Square Greenway. This project, supported by a $150,000 Grassroots funding award from @housing.boston.gov, creates new green space and key bike/pedestrian links to the Southwest Corridor and the Orange Line. @mayorwu.boston.gov

This morning, I joined @mayorwu.boston.gov and the Asian CDC in Chinatown for the groundbreaking of 55 Hudson. The 12-story project will feature a new library and 110 affordable homes, a testament to decades of community activism and Mayor Wu's goal to make Boston a home for everyone.

Yesterday, DCAMM invited members of the West End community and local officials to tour the downtown Hurley and Lindemann Buildings. The state is launching a redevelopment process to convert the space to residential mixed-use, with a focus on preservation and creating more housing in the City.

And, a couple months ago, our Chief of Housing, @sheila-a-dillon.bsky.social, was told that the Trump Administration wouldn’t send us $48 million that had already been awarded to Boston, unless we complied with their ideological wishlist.

At MHIC’s Award Ceremony, Boston’s KNG Realty and Erise Buildings were recognized for their development of Magnolia/Woodford Neighborhood Homes in Roxbury. This development transformed six parcels of vacant City owned land, located in the DSNI triangle, into seven new homes. @housing.boston.gov

Visited Hano Homes yesterday, where Allston Brighton CDC is leading a Deep Energy Retrofit to decarbonize this 20-unit property. With new insulation, full electrification, and rooftop solar, it's set to cut energy use by 70% and reach net zero - advancing @mayorwu.boston.gov’s climate priorities.
