Vestal Cuckoo Bee Bombus vestalis, considerable numbers seen supping on Knapweed flowers at Berry Head. Diagnostic narrow sulphur band above white tail. A social parasite of B. terrestris - a queen Vestal Cuckoo will invade their nest and lay her eggs. Host males will raise its offspring.
