Probably, but haz that happened in most areas of tehcnology where patents are managed on a worldwide basis. Do people in digital technology think that it's special. ... however they do share with the ilicit drugs business, the habit of calling their customers "users"!

A10b Tech sovereignty isn’t about isolation—it’s about smart control. The goal isn’t to own everything, but to avoid owning nothing. Resilience, flexibility and awareness now define digital strength.

A10a Start with a dependency audit: map where your data lives, who controls it and your biggest vendor risks. Even small shifts—like backups, open standards or a second provider—build resilience fast.

A7. I’m a fan of the "Friday Reset" (any day could work) - every Friday I empty the trash, purge emails, review data stores and ruthlessly delete unused or out of date content. It makes Monday morning feel like a fresh start instead of a pile of chores!

A10b Online privacy isn’t about hiding—it’s about choice. Small, repeatable habits add up: review settings, question permissions and share less by default. You don’t need perfection—just intention.

A1 AI’s biggest shift in the next 3 years: It will erase the line between “draft” and “delivery.” Tools will prep briefs, summarize research and turn raw ideas into usable work, so humans focus on judgment and originality. It’s not about speed—it’s about elevation.

All of the above impact the reliability of the Hype Cycle for predicatability. Resistance to adaptation due to fear of job loss probably plays a bigger role in necessitating iterations. The time lags suggest iterations, where history would probably lump all into one cycle.
